Appearance: Standing at a tall 6'0", Goibniu is a man of a fairly good built, having a slim body with slight muscle marks. His more Enkidu attributes are in the shape of small Stag horns on his head, and a small tail. His hair is red with shade of orange, and it's cut in a way that divides his hair to 2 sides separated in the middle, and the most noticable feature, he has a stuffy moustache. His forehead is usually covered by goggles that augment vision, almost like binoculars. His usual attire consists of mostly old fashioned looking clothing, a brown vest with a white dress shirt underneath, brown dressing pants held by a belt, black boots and a right hand black glove. His vest's chest pocket contains a pen and 2 small tools should he need them, and during combat, he attaches a pistol holster on his belt, and a small porch tied to right arm to store bullets.
Personality: With an eccentric demeanor, Goibniu can be initially regarded as harmless and chappy, as he is generally warm. Keyword being 'generally', as he has some reservations and doubts for people that utilize Carta magic, and a specific distrust of Cantus Users. But despite that, he's a well mannered and educated person, brought up with old fashioned principles of honor and etiquette, and a natural sense of curiosity which caused him to be have an interest in technology, making him fairly intellectual. Even if it can, sometimes without knowing, cause him to sound rather condescending and egocentric if left unchecked.
While not exactly a family man, Goibniu takes good care of the members of his clan, not just due to their natural ties, but also thanks to a tragedy that took his mother away from them. He's keen on assisting them, and has a loyalty that can sometimes make him excuse their more rambunctious actions, even if overall they are a well behaved group. Outside of his main interests however, Goibniu has an interest in cooking, due to the logical challenge of utilizing recipes and cooking dishes, but also because he finds it strangely relaxing. However, he's not exactly skilled at it, as his hubris of trying out variations tend to have give him bad results.
Due to his father's teaching, he adquired knowledge on how to fabricate weapons, making it one of his hobbies, tinkering weapons and creating them on request, and despite being the youngest of his two brothers, his skill as a weaponsmith was the most impressive of the 3, even if that's because his brothers had other specialties. His curiosity for machinery was such, that he even delved into more complex creations, his best creation being the 'Iron Glove', which is a prostetic right hand that was made after an incident at a younger age. Because it's a reminder of past events that he's not willing to shed light on so easily, he keeps it hidden through a black glove that he seldom takes off in public. And because he fears it can rise a lot of unwanted attention, after all, despite running his mouth on occassion, he still tries to remain humble, and in his eyes, parading a prostetic limb is not exactly a good way to do so.
History: Residing in the city of Leiger, he's the son of Esarg and Anann, and youngest brother of Credne and Luchtaine. Esarg was known for being an armorer and weaponsmith, something that didn't exactly interest much to Credne and Luchtaine, but it was a different story for Goibniu. Credne wanted to focus on more refined creations and decorations, like pottery or silverware, while Luchtaine was a carpenter at heart, and tried to learn arquitecture and building construction, so it was Goibniu who was more focused on the teachings of their dad, and the studies of blacksmithing.
But as time passed, Goibniu demostrated an intellect that went beyond the field of weapons, and actively seeked to learn how to create more technological objects. So much so, that at the age of 12, Esarg and Anann decided to give him the opportunity to study Enkidu craftmanship by making him live in Aldmerrow, under the apprentice of Tuirbe, an old friend of Esarg. After 6 years, Goibniu returned home with not only a plethora of studies, but also a personal invention, the 'Silver Arrow', a finely crafted firearm made out of Enkidu technology. From that point on, his life remained mostly uneventful, as he tried to fiddke and learn all he could about technology, all while helping his father at their family forge, creating weapons and armor.
However, when he turned 20, things would eventually take a turn for the worst, as one day the city was struck by a Walpurgis and his recently contracted Incantus. Since he was at the forge when the attack began, he picked up a spear close to him, and went ahead to battle, as other residents were already trying to deal with the threat. Catching the Walpurgis by surprise, the two of them were locked in a fight, in which Goibniu fought fiercely, but was ultimately overturned thanks to the Walpurgis' superior prowess. Stealing the weapon from his hand, the Walpurgis struck him back by slicing off his right hand, and then piercing his chest, rendering Goibniu unable to fight anymore.
There were people that tried to assist him, between them, Anann, who was but a mere witness of this situation, but they became part of the crossfire between the fighters and the Incanti, causing a few casualties. Thankfully, when they were getting the upper hand, the Expiate brand of Leiger managed to appear on the scene, and contain the situation, erradicating the threats before they could cause more harm. Despite the initial disaster, they were heralded as heroes, all except an unconcious Goibniu, who was taken by his remainding family to recover.
When he awoke, Goidniu was quickly relayed the events of the confrontation after his defeat, about how they were eventually victorious thanks to the Expiate, and how many others lost their lives, between them, his mother. The fact that he miracously survived the fight, or how he lost his able hand were already shocking enough, but the last news saddened him, as he cursed his inefficiency and the attackers. It was then when he felt that his quest for knowledge should have a purpose other than recreational, and decided that once he recovered, he'd join the Expiate.
But first, he needed to do something about his missing hand, and any old prostetic wouldn't be helpful enough. Goibniu rememebered the lessons he learned about Enkidu technology, and decided to create a new, fully functional hand. Due to his decrease in locomotion, he asked the help of his family in gathering and constructing his creation, and fueled by both the loss of Anann and Goibniu's display of conviction, they accepted to assist him in his project. It took months of work, but eventually, the new hand, to which Goibniu dubbed the 'Iron Glove', was complete. It felt strange at first, but with enough practice, eventually he regained the proper feel of his hand, now having to simply get used to it's added weight due to it's material.
Due to his own lack of magic usage, Esarg decided to teach him the basics of melee combat once he recovered the feel of his hand, as a way to give him another bullet point for his acceptance. Once the turned 23, he felt he was ready to join the Expiate, and thus became a proud member of the Leiger division, where he serves as a blacksmith, and if it's needed, another footsoldier, even if the main reason he was accepted was due to in innate Enkidu ability, the Roar. But he didn't let that dissuade him, and with his new status, Goibniu seeks to honor the memory of his mother and those who died in that tragic day, by seeking to keep the Walpurgis in check, and make sure they don't cause any more problems. And learn something of value on the way, in a world is full of untapped knowledge.

A custom made single-action revolver created by Goibniu, and with the use of Enkidu technology, as an attempt to move to more advanced weaponry outside of melee weapons.

- First Form: The only form it has. Aesthetically, it is similar to a 'wild-west' revolver, with a coat of bright silver. The barrel has 7 chambers, and it's Enkidu enhancement taps into it's inner components, allowing it to fire bullets with stronger force, and as a consequence, has longer range. This increases damage at short range, and allows it to be used as a makeship sniping weapon.
Skills:
- Marksmanship (Expert): As soon as Silver Arrow was created, Goibniu attempted to master it's use as much as possible. He's capable of quick drawing and reloading, and has an enviable aim. He's not a Master at it, due to being self taught, and still having less than a decade worth of training.
- Melee Weapons (Beginning): Once he recovered his right hand, his father taught him basic melee combat with the weapons they crafted. He's beginning because he may know how to properly weild a wide variety of weapons, but he's a master of none, raw strength isn't one of his key attributes, and still lacks the proper finesse of someone more specialized
- Brawling (Beginning): A gentleman needs to know how to brawl should he's unarmed, but once again, since he doesn't have a lot of muscle power, or even proper fighting techniques, his hand-to-hand combat is not exactly the best. His edge however, is his right hand, which can deal more damage than a regular hand would, if the hit manages to land.
