Appearance: Maia is rather petite girl, standing at 5'2 and weighing only 100 ibs. She has shoulder-length, blonde hair she ties into braided pigtails, and soft, dark grey eyes. Her skin is a little bit tan from all the time she spends outdoors. When she is on a job, she wears a hooded leather dress with a pair of leather sandals and a large brown bag where she keeps any packages or letters. She looks a but young, but one could easily tell that she is around the age of 18 or 19.
On her off days, she is usually seen with a simple green dress. The seal on the right side of her neck reveals her to be a Walpurgis.
Personality: Maia is a kind, yet shy girl. She prefers to keep to herself and stay away from her fellow villagers. She enjoys talking to kind people who don't care that she is a Walpurgis. But those who ridicule her for being something beyond her control aren't her favorite people in the world. Maia also enjoys travelling long distances on her horse, Elderberry. In other cities and towns, they don't know her, and often don't give her a second glance. She loves it when this happened. Maia also enjoys her job as a courier, despite only getting payed half of what her colleagues get payed.
She has some regrets on leaving the academy, but she felt it was for the best. Feeling like an abomination and unwanted, and the death of her father, Maia felt it was the best choice at the time. Maia is easily scared and can be timid. However, she is known to display courage in certain situations.
History: Maia was born in a small village called Isolé to William and Mary Tommelise. Her father was a Walpurgis like her, but was sealed as a baby. And she was too a few hours after she was born. Her mother wasn't the most healthy of people in the world, and was warned that it might be too dangerous to have a child. But she wanted a daughter so bad, she convinced William to have one with her. Sadly, she passed away a day later from on her many diseases. William was heartbroken, but was determined to raise his daughter for his wife. William and Mary cams to Isolé for a quiet life in a small and isolated village, but it soon became apparent the William was despised for being being a Walpurgis, and Mary was too for marrying one.
Maia would get the same treatment. She was bullied by children and adults, and her teachers even flunked her in school. It didn't matter what she put on the piece of paper, it would be graded harshly. William had enough and didn't want his daughter to live her life like this, when she was fifteen, she was sent to a Carta Academy in the capital to study the magic. Maia loved it and had a love for Wind magic. She even stand making friends, however, only after a year at the academy, William died.
Maia found out he had been killed in a dispute with another villager. Arguing about sending Maia away. The man didn't think a "freak" like her deserved to go to school, and should be a a hag in the wilderness. William didn't take kindly to the man talking about his daughter like that and yelled at the man, one thing led to another, and William was stabbed in the chest. He soon bled to death.
The young girl was incredibly depressed over his death. Maia just left school one day, and headed back to Isolé. She made sure her father was buried with her mother, and it was down respectfully. The guards promised it would be, but she didn't trust them anymore after the man who killed her father wasn't punished as it was ruled "self-defense" because apparently William attacked the man and he had no choice but to kill him. She moved to a small home on the outskirts, so she wouldn't have to deal with her other villagers. Maia also took a job as a courier for a postal service that operated all over Saoirse. But she only got the job because Maia agreed to half the pay as the other couriers.
Weapon: Dual Daggers - A pair of bronze daggers that Maia got from the postal service to protect herself from any threats on the road. Appear to be enchanted, allowing them to cut deeper and slice through stronger enemies and objects.

Strengths/Weaknesses: Maia is very fast and agile and can do a large amount of damage to an enemy with many strikes, however she is not sturdy and even a few hits can put her out of commission. She is also a novice when it comes to magic, which makes her rely on her daggers as a means for combat, which isn't always the best choice.
