"Kill it, of course," Liseran said plainly.

The corrupted wolf charged towards them growling and, as Aleph expected, it was ready to pounce on them. Fortunately, Goibniu's shot to the head knocked it back and caused it to howl in pain. It's right eye bled.

Liseran was second to respond by casting a glyph of Cartic marks below it and forcing it back down on the ground with a gravity spell. The wolf tried to struggle against the spell, but it was now vulnerable for an open attack.

More howls came from the sides, and it soon became apparent that more Bad wolves were heading their way there now.

    "Merde," Liseran muttered.

Two smaller wolves ran forward and tried to attack both Maia and Goibniu.

Maia sighed as everyone attacked the wolf. Usually people made a quick plann before engaging an opponent. Well, she did. If it wasn't for the fact that all these people were strong fighters, Maia would definitely think they would have died a long time ago.

She was about to attack the big wolf, but then two smaller ones jumped out. And quickly began to charge at her and Goibniu. "I don't think so!" Maia growled. She quickly extended her arm, revealing three coloured bracelets. She casted a spell, and a glowing gray glyph appeared on her chest.

She smirked and charge at the wolf too. But she was seemingly a lot faster. She narrowly dodged the wolf's bite, and thrusted her left dagger at the wolf's throat, and the right at it's front left leg.

A smirk was visible in Goibniu's face when the bullet made contact. Clearly not even the wildlife was a match for his skills. The smirk however, would soon be erased when they heard the sound of more wolves approaching.

"Brace yourselves, everyone!" He said, as two wolves appeared to attack them. As Maia was taking care of one of them, Goibniu cocked the hammer and fired at the other wolf, aiming for another headshot to afflict massive damage.

Aleph was slightly disappointed when the wolf didn't charge him head on. And as if one wolf wasn't bad enough, two more wolves immediately joined the fray, going after Goibniu and Maia.

Fortunately, the first wolf was now trapped by Liseran's gravity spell. Seeing his chance, Aleph smiled then charged at the wolf, aiming to drive his sword straight through the wolf's head.

Unfortunate for Goibniu, the headshot would miss as the wolf lowered itself down to speed on all fours. Letting out a loud howl, it emitted harsh acidic air that would attempt to sting Goibniu and Aleph's eyes.

Aleph and Maia, who had attempted a few melee attacks would manage to graze the wolves. Maia's strike caused it to flinch back a bit, before it tried to claw at her. Aleph's sword wouldn't pierce right through the head of the wolf in question just yet however. Liseran's bell shook and it broke free of the gravity spell and raised itself up, before trying to bite at Aleph's leg.

Maia was disappointed when she didn't even injure the wolf. Her pride was hurt a bit, seeing how she was used to killing things quickly. To add more salt to the wound, she wasn't able to get away in time, and the claws dug deep into her arm. "AAAAGH!" See yelled as jumped back. Her sleeve had been ripped, and a deep shade of red was staining the cloth, and running down her arm.

"lâche!" She snarled at the wolf. Perhaps even more fierce than any of these beast could. She extended her uninjured arm and began casting a new spell. Her trusty wind spell. She then launched at the monster. Hoping to do some damage, or at least knock it off its feet.

"Darn!" Unfortunately, the wolf was able to see his move, and managed to avoid his attack. In retaliation, it let out a roar that seemed to just intimidate them, but as soon as he started feeling a slight sting in his eyes, Goibniu put on his goggles to shield his eyes.

Quickly tinkering with the settings to cancel any zoom, Goibniu found himself having difficulty having his eyes open thanks to the sting. It was risky, but he was still confident enough with his marksmanship to keep a ranged approach. Preparing his firearm, he aimed at the roaring wolf and fired. He decided to aim at the body, since it was a less difficult target than the head, but did his difficulty seeing impede in his firing? He hoped not.

"Kyaah!" Aleph yelped as the wolf he tried to stab end up breaking free from the gravity trap and lunging after him. He managed to jump back, with the wolf's teeth just barely missing his leg. He became miffed at this. How rude! But now, the wolf was in range. So, with that, Aleph raised his sword and slashed at the wolf's face.

The sudden gust of wind cast by Maia would force the wolf back and slamming it into a tree trunk. It yelped and dropped to the ground, still alive, but not yet in a fighting stance. Goibniu would also start gaining control over his situation as his bullets dug into the wolf's flesh. The wolf whined as it staggered from the pain and let out an ear-piercing shriek in order to distract the opponents before trying to run off.

Aleph's strike would hit the wolf, knocking it back before a golden glyph appeared beneath it.

    "Stay back," a voice said.

Behind Aleph, Liseran had rung her bell and from the sky came a swift lightning bolt. It didn't exactly kill the wolf, but it winced, paralyzed and unable to move after taking the electric attack.

"You're mine!" Maia snarled and sprinted towards the wolf. She readied her daggers, slightly wincing as she lifted her left arm. But she fought through the pain, she had to. She then lifted the daggers above her head and thrusted them down with a large amount of force. Maia wanted to finish this wolf.

"YAAAH!" She yelled in pain and anger. The poor wolf angered the wrong courier.
